Terms & Conditions
The short version: this website is information, your signed contract is the agreement, and details like prices, promotions, and financing programs can change — so confirm anything important with us directly. The details follow.
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of sidingwindowvault.com (the "Site"), operated by Siding Vault LLC, doing business as Siding & Window Vault ("we," "us," or "our"), a Washington State licensed contractor (License #SIDINV*787PJ). By using the Site, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Site.
2. The Site is information — your contract is the agreement
Everything on this Site — service descriptions, project photos, process explanations, pricing context, promotions, and financing information — is provided for general information. It is not an offer, a quote, or professional advice for your specific property. Every home is different, and what your project needs is determined at your estimate.
Educational content on the Site — including blog posts, guides, comparisons, and FAQ answers — reflects the professional opinions of Siding & Window Vault's staff, based on our own field experience in Northwest Washington. Our honest views on products, materials, brands, and installation practices (including products and brands we choose not to install, and comparisons between competing manufacturers) are opinion, not statements of objective fact, defamation of any brand, or professional advice for your specific property. Manufacturers may disagree with our assessments; conditions vary by home; and other contractors may reasonably reach different conclusions. Where our content references publicly reported matters — such as lawsuits, settlements, recalls, or warranty programs concerning a manufacturer or product — we summarize public information we believe accurate as of the publication date; those matters may since have been resolved, settled, or superseded, and products reformulated or improved, without the content reflecting it. We are not liable for decisions made in reliance on this content — get a professional evaluation of your own property before acting.
Nothing on the Site is engineering, architectural, legal, or building-code advice. Building-code and permit requirements vary by jurisdiction and change over time; notes about permits or codes on this Site are general orientation, not a determination for your property. Confirm requirements with the issuing authority or a licensed professional before acting on them.
Any prices, price ranges, or cost discussions on the Site are illustrative, drawn from past projects and market conditions at the time of writing. They are not an offer or a quote. The only price that applies to your project is the one in the written proposal we prepare for your specific home.
Any work we perform for you is governed exclusively by the written proposal and contract you sign with us, including its scope, price, schedule, and warranty terms. If anything on this Site appears to conflict with your signed contract, the contract controls.
3. Information changes — verify what matters
We work to keep the Site accurate, but prices, promotions, product availability, manufacturer warranty programs, financing programs, service offerings, and business details can change without notice, and the Site may not reflect a change immediately. We may correct errors and update or remove content at any time. Before relying on anything time- or money-sensitive, confirm the current details with us directly — every estimate comes with the current terms.
4. License to use the Site
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for personal, informational purposes. You may not: use bots, crawlers, scrapers, or other automated means to extract content or data from the Site; frame or mirror any part of it; submit spam, promotional content, or unlawful material through our forms; or use the Site for any illegal purpose. We monitor for unauthorized use of our content and site structure, and unauthorized use may result in legal action.
Search engines, AI systems, and other third parties may excerpt, summarize, or paraphrase Site content in their own results. We are not responsible for how third parties present our content, and a third-party summary is not a statement by us — the Site itself is the authoritative version.
When you submit information through our forms — including project details, photos, or application materials — you confirm you have the right to share it and grant us permission to use it to evaluate and respond to your inquiry. Do not submit content that belongs to someone else without their permission.
5. Promotions and offers
Advertised promotions and discounts are subject to their stated terms, apply only while the promotion is active, cannot be combined with other offers unless we say otherwise in writing, and may be modified or withdrawn at any time without notice. A promotion applies to your project only if it is reflected in your written proposal.
6. Warranties
Product warranties — such as manufacturer warranties on siding, finishes, and windows — are provided by the manufacturers under their own published terms, which the manufacturers control and may change. We separately back our installations with our own workmanship warranty; its current terms are provided with your estimate and in your contract. Nothing on this Site extends, modifies, or guarantees any manufacturer warranty.
7. Financing
Financing described on the Site is offered and administered by independent third parties and their lending partners, who alone decide approvals, rates, fees, and terms. All financing is subject to credit approval. See the disclaimer on our Financing page for details; it is part of these Terms.
8. Text and email communications
By submitting an estimate request or providing your phone number, you consent to receive text messages and emails from us about your inquiry and project. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any service. Our Privacy Policy describes these communications, and our promise that your SMS consent is never shared for marketing, in full.
9. Reviews and project photos
Customer reviews and testimonials on the Site come from real customers and reflect their individual experiences; your results and project details will differ. Project photographs are of our actual work. Aggregate ratings shown on the Site reflect our review profiles across third-party platforms at the time of publication and change as new reviews arrive.
10. Intellectual property
The Site's content — text, photographs, graphics, and branding — is owned by Siding Vault LLC and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and share it for personal, non-commercial purposes; any other use requires our written permission.
Third-party names and marks that appear on the Site — including James Hardie®, ColorPlus®, HardiePlank®, Andersen®, Milgard®, Ply Gem®, Trex®, Hover®, Wisetack, and Enhancify — are the property of their respective owners. We reference third-party products and brands, including in comparisons and in content about products we choose not to install, solely to identify them. Such references do not imply that those companies endorse, sponsor, or are affiliated with us — or that we endorse them beyond what the content says. Certifications and partner designations we display describe our standing in those programs; they do not imply that any third party endorses this Site.
11. Analytics and advertising
We use, or may use, analytics and advertising technologies from Google and Meta on this Site to measure our marketing, and we advertise on their platforms. Your use of the Site is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains what those tools collect and how to opt out. Those companies operate under their own terms and privacy policies, which we do not control.
12. Third-party links
The Site links to websites we do not control, including review platforms, manufacturers, and financing providers. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices, and a link is not an endorsement.
13. Disclaimer and limitation of liability for Site use
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind regarding the Site itself, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted or error-free availability, or freedom from viruses and other harmful components. You use the Site at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or from reliance on Site content that has since changed. This section concerns the website only — it does not limit the obligations we take on in a signed construction contract, and it does not limit rights that Washington law does not allow to be limited.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Siding Vault LLC, its owners, employees, subcontractors, and agents from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms. Like the liability section above, this concerns use of the website — it does not apply to work performed under a signed construction contract, which carries its own terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any dispute arising from use of the Site will be resolved in the state courts located in Whatcom County, Washington, or in the federal courts having jurisdiction over Whatcom County.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the Site after an update means the current version applies.
