Siding Vault Is Now Siding & Window Vault
If you knew us as Siding Vault — the name we built our reputation under for years — you're in the right place. In 2026 we became Siding & Window Vault — same company, same owner, same crews, the same Washington contractor license, and the same reviews and projects you'll find on this site. The name changed. The people and the standards didn't.
Those years took our siding work to the top of the trade: James Hardie Elite Contractor status, the highest tier of the manufacturer's program, verified by Hardie itself. We didn't want to stop there — and the part of a project most likely to let a homeowner down was never the siding or the crew. It was buying the windows. Manufacturers sell directly only to companies with their own supply account; everyone else, including most contractors, orders through a distributor. That extra layer is invisible from the outside, but you feel it: quotes that take weeks and come back with mistakes, details lost between three parties, and a middleman's margin quietly folded into your price.
We decided our customers deserved better than the industry norm, so we set out to build our window side the way we had built our siding side. Buying our Anacortes showroom building is putting us on the supply side of the counter — we're setting up direct supply accounts with the window brands we install, which will let us order from the manufacturers ourselves. As those accounts come online, that will mean faster, cleaner quotes, one conversation instead of three, shorter lead times, and one less margin folded into your price. Few contractors take this on. We chose to, because when a company takes the shortcut, it's the customer who pays for it.
It also settled the question we hear at nearly every estimate: "Do you do windows too?" We always have — now it's in the name. We still take care of the whole exterior: siding, windows, doors, decks, roofing, and paint. And if you spot the earlier Siding Vault logo on a truck, a yard sign, an older project photo, or in a customer review, that's us, in the previous branding.

Exteriors Are Not a Side Trade Here — They're the Whole Business
Western Washington is a wind-driven-rain state. Siding and windows here don't just face weather — they face water pushed sideways at the wall for months at a time, which is why flashing details, housewrap laps, and penetration sealing matter more in this region than almost anywhere else. That's the work we've built the company around.
We're a local crew serving five northwest counties, not a franchise running the same playbook in thirty states. That means PNW-specific installation practice without franchise-inflated pricing, bids written specifically for your home with minimal boilerplate, and permits pulled and inspections passed in the same municipalities year after year — we know the local inspectors, and they know our work.
Started in Whatcom County. Invested for the Long Run.
Siding & Window Vault started in Whatcom County and has run out of a leased office in Ferndale for years — still our home base, where estimates are scheduled and projects are managed. As the work carried us south through Skagit, Island, San Juan, and Snohomish counties, we made a decision most contractors don't: we bought a commercial building at 911 29th Street in Anacortes outright — not leased, owned.
We're renovating it into a full showroom right now — the complete exterior and interior remodel is our own portfolio piece. When it opens, you'll be able to handle real product samples, meet us in person, and judge our workmanship by walking through it.
Owning the building also unlocks something most contractors can't offer: the room to stock and supply windows ourselves from the brands we install, instead of buying every unit through a third-party supplier. We're setting up direct supply accounts with those brands now. As those accounts come online, fewer hands in the chain will mean tighter lead times and one less markup in your bid.
A contractor who owns its building isn't going anywhere. No fly-by-night crew buys real estate in the community it serves — we're here for the decades your siding is warrantied for, not just the season.
